I wanted to make a nice batch of dark lager. I usually do a partial extract using some LME from my local Supply store.
They carry bulk LME both light and dark. In this particular case the valve was stuck on the drum of dark liquid extract so they gave me 3 lbs of
CBW Special Dark from a kit they had sitting around.
Well the combination of this dark LME plus my grain produced such a delightful beer that when I had the first one I rolled around on the floor and rubbed my belly with my tongue hanging out and tears running down my face...
So the question comes up: how would you duplicate Breiss CBW Special Dark using some combination of grain and extract?
I'd love to figure out a way to consistently make this delightful stuff from scratch.
