Looking for a somewhat easy to make wine recipe. Haven't really been successful at what I have tried. (apple) But didn't really have a site like this for help. Can anyone help? I've looked trought a few of the recipes here. But I'm really lost on where to start. So many of them sound great.

I have done kits only, but they all came out incredibly awesome.

Unless you count Ed Wort's apfelwein, which also came out incredible. Very strong, but delicious.

Apfelwein recipe can be found here:

apfelwein recipe

It is a super simple apple wine that can be made and is famous as a full proof great first wine.

I prefer my simple Welche's concentrate recipe.

1 gallon recipe

4 11.5oz frozen cans of Welche's juice concentrate (grape, white grape and white grape peach all work out great)
1tbs black tea leaves (I use earl grey tea)
1tsp pectic enzyme
1tsp yeast nutrient
1/2tsp yeast energizer
Water to one gallon
Yeast (any wine yeast of choice but I always go for lalvin 71b)

Get a kit or try one of these recipes and you can't go wrong.
