Hi, I've always used whole leaf hops when brewing, and thinking of trying out pellets. When using pellets do I have to do anything special, or can I just drop the pellets straight into the boil?

Just drop them in.

Biggest difference you will see is that pellets soak up less wort so you end up with more beer.

They are also slightly more efficient delivering hop goodness so you don't need quite as much, but it isn't enough difference that I've ever bothered to adjust.

Finally, if you have a plate chiller, you might need to make some adjustment to your process or you might clog it up.
