So I love Baltic porters but the warm weather is coming and I want to do low abv beers. So I was wondering if I could age a Baltic porter till October if I brew it now. I'm drinking one right now so damn good it's smutty nose from NH
 
I prefer my porters to have some time in the fermenter followed by more time yet in the bottles so I'd brew it now. I find that the darker beers need a couple months in the bottles to hit their peak flavor and that doesn't decline with time like the hop aroma of a pale ale.
 
Thanks for the advise I'm going to brew one for big brew day on the 4 th
