Cleaning out my fridge and freezer to buy new ingredients. Summer is coming up so i thought i would try a potluck pale ale of sorts.
American Pale Ale
All Grain (11 gallons)
ABV:5.8%
OG 1.057
FG:1.013
IBUs:37.1
IBUs:6.5 SRM
21lb pale malt (2 row)
3lb carmel/crystal malt -20L
.5 oz Tomahawk - 30 min.
1 oz Galena - 15 min.
1 oz Summit - 10 min.
1 oz Progress - 5 min.
1 oz Warrior - 5 min.
.5 oz Tomahawk - 1 min.
whirlfloc tablets - 15 min.
splitting the 10 gallon batch and will use 2 different yeast
wyeast 1028 - London ale yeast for 5 gallons
wyeast 3787 - Trappist high gravity
typical batch sparge
14 day primary
7 day secondary
keg
force carb
any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated like i said i am cleaning out the fridge trying to use all i got in one batch
