I haven't really done much recipe making before. I've only tweaked known recipes, so I could use some pointers. I had some North Peak Siren Amber last weekend and it blew me away. I thought this was a very solid beer and would like to make something like it. I'm not necessarily going for an exact clone, but just something close.

I remember it being very malty/caramely. I do not remember any hoppy flavors at all. I'm not too experienced in tastings, so here it is on Beer Advocate. Here are the specs and descriptions from North Peak's website:

Its call is intoxicating. An aroma that beckons you to pull up a stool and linger over its toasted malt character. Next, a deep kiss of liquid lust that will caress your tongue, thanks to an array of toasty Pale, Crystal (30 and 75), wheat, Carapils and roasted barley malts balanced by the subtle bite of Willamette and Fuggle hops. It's a brew that will seduce your heart, mind and palette.

ABV: 5.0% IBUs: 48

Now, what I've come up with so far is this (5 gal, 75% efficiency):

Fermentables:
7 lbs 2-row
1.25 lbs Flaked Wheat
8 oz Carapils
4 oz Caramel 30L
4 oz Caramel 80L
4 oz Roasted Barley

Hops:
1 oz Fuggles (4.5%) 60 min
1 oz Willamette (5%) 60 min

Yeast:
S-05

Do you guys think I will be at all close? Anything I should change?

After doing a little reading, I adjusted the recipe:

Fermentables:
7 lbs 2-row
1 lbs Flaked Wheat
1 lb Caramel 30L
8 oz Caramel 80L
8 oz Carapils
4 oz Roasted Barley

Hops:
1 oz Fuggles (4.5%) 60 min
1 oz Willamette (5%) 60 min

Yeast:
S-05

If anyone has any input, that would be great. I think I'll brew it this weekend, or next.
