New Brew Kettle question

Hey all,

I am in the process of moving to All-grain brewing and I know I need to upgrade my brew kettle to a larger size to accommodate the increased volume. I am just curious if anyone can tell me if this is a decent BK and at a decent price?

comes with a valve, lid and another port for a thermometer above it. I'd say its not a bad deal.

My main questions would be: Are the fittings welded or weldless? and How thick is the stainless?

Great questions to ask. If the fittings are not weldled you will have to ask yourself if that is something important to you or not. Also, I'm not sure how much shipping for you would be for the Polar Ware kettle but morebeer.com has a 15 gal kettle which IS welded with a female NPT fitting on the inside here for ~$25 more.

I have the 8 gallon version of the morebeer.com kettle and LOVE it.
