Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: WLP004 Irish Ale Yeast
Yeast Starter: YES! 1.5L
Batch Size (Gallons): 6
Original Gravity: 1.064
Final Gravity: 1.018
IBU: 46
Boiling Time (Minutes): 90
Color (SRM): 32.8
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 30 days @64
Tasting Notes: Medium Body, sweet chocolate taste with just a hint of bitterness to balance out the beer. Head is medium-dark and retention persists throughout the glass. The longer this beer ages, the smoother the flavor.

Recipe
12# Pale Malt, Maris Otter (3.0 SRM)
1# Chocolate Malt (350 SRM)
.5# Barley, Flaked (1.7 SRM)
.5# Caramel/Crystal Malt -80L (80 SRM)
.25# Black (Patent) Malt (500 SRM)
2 oz Goldings, East Kent (5.6% Leaf)- Boil 60 min
1.5 oz Fuggles (5.10% Leaf)-Boil 20 min
Irish Moss 15 min

Mash at 152 for 60 minutes at 1.33 qt/pd
Sparge for a 8.3 gallon boil (or a 1.052 pre-boil gravity)

Primary for 3 or so weeks, throw her in a keg and age. Go for a month before drinking. Flavors smooth out after about two months.

I've never made a Porter but this looks good. I don't have the means to keg. Can I bottle condition this for a month?
