hop growing help

I ordered 2 rhizomes... I was a little late getting them ordered but i need some help...

I ordered 1 each of Kent golding and cascade but they sent 3 each... Which is pretty awesome... They will def be getting a good review on Ebay... I used ebay cause they were cheap and i stumbled upon them

Do i just put these in the ground with the shoots straight up?

I was planning on using a 8 foot pole 12 or so feet away from the plants and running bines too them... Sound like a good plan?

Its raining heavy on and off today would it be a good day to plant them?
