Howdy!

Long story short, I ended up with three gallons of ipa wort after my very first battle with all grain lol. I made the intoxicated choice to pitch two vials of yeast (no starter) into the wort. I am now in full panic mode, wondering if this was a very bad choice. Alternatively, I am thinking of racking it off the cake tomorrow (4 days). Any advice would help, thanks!

Nope, you're fine. Leave it for a couple weeks until its done fermenting then dry hop (if applicable.)

Cheers and welcome to the wonderful world of all grain!

Leave it alone!!! 2 vials shouldn't be too excessive in 3 gallons; certainly more than you needed but not so much as to cause issues. What was the OG?

Wow thanks guys! Almost tossed the batch! Lol and unfortunately my hydrometer broke as I was drawing up a sample. I'll let you know how it goes!
