How does this look, it's my first attempt at one of these. I went with a little extra cara to give it a good mouth feel. I wanted to put some honey malt in, but anything over 8oz just barfed up the color profile. Planning on a 150deg 90 minute mash.

There's usually a pound or two of flaked corn (or rice) in a cream ale. I think if you bump that up and remove the carapils you'd be pretty good. You might even cut back a bit on the base malt too if you go for two+ pounds of corn.

I did one like the cream of 3 crops ale and went with 2 lbs of flaked corn and 1 lb of rice.

Yeah I'd go with 1/4 lb carapils maybe. I'd also consider bittering with a noble hop versus warrior.

Also, I wouldn't put more than 1/4 lb honey in almost any beer, it's pretty powerful.
