Crowns? If you mean hop rhizomes then the answer is no. If you mean something else the answer is ... Huh?
No.
If you are talking crowns with any green (leaf, bubs, bines) then refrigeration is the very last thing that you want to do. Even if they are rhizomes - at long as they will be planted soon - keep them out of the cold.
