I wrote a batch sparge calculator.

And also a no-sparge calculator.

I intend to maintain it and upgrade it.
So let me know (either here or via pm) if you want a change.
Any kind of feedback would be welcome.

It works for me. I checked the results against other
batch/no sparge calculators and it matches pretty well.

Works pretty slick Bob. Can you add in a mt temperature as well? I like to preheat mine...

The calculator assumes the mash tun is preheated.
I will add a note about that.

Some of the other calculators try to account for the mash tun temperature.
They need additional information like mash tun specific heat,
which is a bit of a pain to figure out.
For batch sparging it seems easier to just preheat the mash tun.

Nice. I'll give this a try for the next batch

I added a "Notes" tab to the calculator that mentions preheating the mash tun
along with some other stuff I thought might be useful.

I wrote a no-sparge calculator also:

I updated the first post in this thread also with the link.

This is the "traditional" style of no-sparge with two infusions.
Next I am going to work on a biab no-sparge calculator.

Feedback welcome.
