Hi everyone,

Novice homebrewer here from Patchogue, NY, where craft beer is greatly appreciated. Brewed my first batch back in December with decent results, and in the process of finishing my 2nd batch (first 5 gallon batch ever). Looking forward to reading the collective wisdom of the more experienced homebrewers on here!

Welcome! I'm in Rocky Point. New guy too, only started this year. But my fourth and fifth (2.5 gallon) batches are fermenting.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm hoping to be able to brew more as time goes on, but bottle storage is an issue at the moment. Based on how this batch turns out, I'm planning to brew at least a 5 gallon batch every 3-4 weeks. I've been told by others that brewing is like anything else: practice makes perfect.

It's true. Mine are getting better. I also have space restrtictions, it's why I brew small batches.
