Very much so. I've learned a lot from it and am still trying to digest so much more. Some is over my head but it's nice knowing the answers are there when I'm ready for them. A big thanks to John for putting this book together.

I'm in Ch. 6, reading, re-reading. Lightbulbs constantly popping in me head. It's exciting. I know it's not meant to be exciting. Maybe I'm twisted.

John Palmer knows his stuff and that is the seminal book on homebrewing. But he was a noob once. Check out this post of his way back when the the homebrew digest was the only good resource on the net for homebrewing (I wish HBT existed when I started).
