I followed instructions to the t! I really thought it would be carbonated at least a little by now, 10 days.
My question: could the fact that I added a lb of clover honey at flame out make it prime differently?

How much bottling sugar did you add?
How make gallons was the batch?

I'd say give it another ten days and about 2day in fridge before tasting.

The honey won't do any harm.

Did you bottle or keg?

In either case wait another few days and try again.

If bottles, I assume you added priming sugar? Did you add enough?

PS. You'll get better answers than mine in the bottling/kegging sub forum.

Bottled it, and it was a 5 gallon kit from Midwest.

More time. The rule of thumb is 3 weeks in the bottle at 70F to carb. I can't wait that long so I open 1 a week until the beer is carbed and tastes mature.

How old was your kit? I ran into this problem when I first started doing extract brews. The yeast was old and had been sitting on some shelf. It barely fermented the beer, then after secondary it had settled out and was no longer viable enough to carb the beer. On beers I secondary for 6 months or more I pitch new yeast for bottling (if i'm not kegging that is)
