Hello from Boyce, VA

I am a first time home brewer. I just popped my first bottle with some friends last night to celebrate the first brew. I am totally new to this and so far having a blast. My wife got me a Mr. Beer starter kit for Christmas and I just now got around to trying it. The first brew was one of the ones from the kit which is my favorite a dark beer. It turned out great. The second batch is the Mexican style beer and the last is the Lager. It is a lot of fun and so far has been addicting. I looked for a website to help me out with this as well as see other folk's experiences, etc. This one seemed the best to me. So onward I go looking forward to what HBT has to offer.
