Tasting Notes
Medium Bitterness, Fruity Aroma, easy drinking.
7 Pounds Pilsner Malt (I used German, but Belgian would be preferred)
4 Pounds Wheat Malt
1 Pound Flaked Wheat
.5 Pounds Flaked Oats

1oz Columbus (15.2%AA) - First Wort Hop
1oz Cascade (6%AA) - 30 Minutes
.5oz Australian Galaxy (13%AA) - 5 Minutes
.5oz Australian Galaxy (13%AA) - Flameout

.5oz Ground Coriander - 10 Minutes
1oz Lemongrass (2 stalks cut up) - 10 Minutes
1oz Sweet Orange Peel - 10 Minutes

Did this as a BIAB Mash at 152 Degrees for 1 Hour.

Finished out at 6.5%ABV

Carbed to 2 volumes

This beer was my first attempt and it came out wonderful. Had an excellent aroma and bitterness, but not to over powering. Cloudy, almost Wit beer looking with great head retention. Keg was gone in 1 day with a group of friends.

I had an Alaskan White IPA which was aged in Oak...give it a try next time or add oak chunks into a secondary....it will blow your mind!!!
