I have not been able to locate any concrete information in relationship to GF grains and their gravity points. Hopefully somebody has this and could post a link or a comment. From what I hear is that you expect between 1.020 and 1.028 SG for Millet, Buckwheat, Amaranth and Quinoa. If I stumble across any info, I will certainly pass it on.

Thanks for the reply and link. I don't think we are far away from an information explosion when it comes to GF brewing.

Ha. Nice.

This information is not exact but its what I use:

CMC Red Millet: 21ppg
CMC White Millet: 28ppg
CMC Quinoa: 34ppg
CMC Buckwheat: 14ppg
CMC Amaranth: ? (Good luck crushing it)

CMC = Colorado Malting Co

I get good recipe formulation with these values.
