A little over 24 hours ago I started my first cyser... not planned out..not much anyway.

I took 5 gallons of raw cider from the orchard up the street, crushed 240mg of campden tablets & put it in the 6.5g carboy.

I also took a packet of Nottingham ale yeast & 1800 mL of the above-mentioned cider & put it in my new 2liter flask on a recently constructed stir plate. I haven't pitched the yeast yet, maybe I'll wait till tomorrow or should I do it tonight?

2.5# of clover honey (or whatever) from Costco was added as an afterthought.

I poured half of each gallon into the carboy then shook the remainder hard for 30 shakes in effort to aerate.

I have 6 oz of liquid cinnamon extract, considered putting a little of that in there.

Wish me luck
