Tasting Notes
Huge hop nose with honey mingling with caramel and ginger sparkling in the taste
This is an amber version of uknowwh00's Honey Ginger "IPA". :mug:
The honey definitely comes through in this beer and melds nicely with the toasty caramel from the munich malt. I didn't get as much ginger flavor with this one as my previous attempt but it's still there, the carbonation makes it almost effervescent. Although the hops are huge in the aroma (at least initially), the beer itself is not very bitter, letting the sweet flavors through.
I sought out advice from people who know more than me when crafting this beer and the results are in the beer.
Prost! :D
