Fuggles was always my go to if I wanted mild bittering with no hop flavor, like in a stout.

5 ounces? Build an IPA!

2 oz 60 minutes
1 oz 30 min
1 oz flameout
1 oz dry hop

8 lbs 2 row
1 lb crystal 40

Look for any stout recipe above 8%, use fuggles for the hop bill, 1.5 oz @ 60 1.5 oz @ 20, 2 oz @ f.o., use English ale yeast and enjoy a fantastic imperial stout!

you don't have to use all 5 in 1 recipe, obviously. if you have some golding hops also, you can use those for a bitter. fuggle is, imo, the best all-around english hops, and can be used in almost any european beer recipe. i even use it along with cascade in my house apa

i brewed an all fuggles pale ale using an oz at 60 an oz at 15 an oz at 5 and dry hopped with an oz and it was awesome!

Do a bitter. Just do a bitter. I'm making Fuggles my FAVE for hops as I have accidentally found that English Bitters are my favorite beers.
