A buddy of mine is getting married and we thought we would buy him a 5-gallon white oak barrel with a spigot to bring to his bachelor party (with beer in it already of course).
Question is, how do we make this happen (I've never messed around with a barrel). I'm assuming it'd be a bad idea to use it after secondary fermentation as a 'bottling bucket' and let the priming sugar do its stuff in the bucket just in time to bring to the shindig. But that's kind of what I had in mind for the whole presentation factor.
