I brewed a great imperial stout out of Brewing Classic Styles and this year id like to alter it a little by adding some coffee at bottling.
19lbs British Pale Malt
1.5lbs Black Roasted Barley
1lb Special "B"
0.5lb CaraMunich
0.5lb Chocolate Malt
0.5lb Pale Chocolate malt
1.5oz Horizon 60 mins
2.0oz Kent Goldings 10 mins
2.0oz Kent Goldings 1 min
18g US-05
OG 1.098
FG 1.030
Pre boil 1.084
My idea was to add 20oz of good cold brewed coffee at bottling. My questions since I've never made an imperial coffee stout, should I change the hop profile? I was thinking of removing the second addition of kent Goldings? I really liked the way the base recipe turned out last year and was hoping it be a good imperial base recipe to use.
Thanks
