THis is an atpempt at a session Pale

Pale malt 6 lb
victory malt .5 lb
crystal 30 .5 lb
EKG .75 oz 60 min
N Brewer .5 oz 10 min
N Brewer .5 oz 0 min
Nottingham yeast

I show a OG of 1.036 and IBUs of 21.3 and a estimate AB of 3.7%. Any suggestions on changes? I have never made a beer this small before and am looking forward to a nice beer for after I work all day in the hot Central valley summer.

I would reverse your hops. Northern Brewer is a better bittering hop than EKG, in my opinion, while the Goldings makes for a better flavoring/aroma hop. You might also consider using just EKG.

I also wonder if you are a little heavy on the crystal malt, for a small beer. Maybe try 1/4 lb of crystal 60, or a pound of Munich (you'd want to cut your pale malt by a 1/2 lb). The latter option would give you a slightly dryer beer.
