Apple Beer

Does anyone have a good recipe for a good apple ale recipe. My wife really loves angry orchard and that reds apple ale. I would love to make her something like that, but I'm not really sure where to start to get all that apple flavoring. I'd really prefer an all grain recipe. Thanks for all your help.

You heard of Graf? The recipe was created by a member of this forum, basically you're mixing 1 gallon of wort with 4 gals apple juice.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't really of heard of it before, but it looks like what I was looking for. Didn't realize it was normally made with that much apple juice. Thanks

midwest has an apple ale kit I made a couple of years ago that is pretty good... You have to age it a long time but I made it with 4 gals of wort and 1 gal of fresh apple cider. I added 1/2 pound of honey, 2 cinnamon sticks, and 2 pieces of nutmeg at the last 10 min of the boil. After about 9 months to a year it was delicious.

Holy smokes 9 months to a year before it tastes good, sure does seem pretty long for a beer that isn't very strong.
