Probably the best IPA I made to date and felt it was worthy of a post for others to try and brew. A nice dry, hop forward IPA.
Grains:
Rahr Pale ale 11.5#
Rye Malt 1#
C-60 .5#
Cane Suger .5#
Hops:
1.25oz Chinook 60Min
0.75oz Chinook 20Min
1.00oz Simcoe 10Min
1.00oz Amarillo 10Min
0.75oz Citra Hopback
0.75oz Simcoe Hopback
1.50oz Amarillo Hopback
1.00oz Simcoe Dryhop
0.75oz Citra Dryhop
0.25oz Chinook Dryhop
Mashed at 151 for 60 mins, added burton salts to the mash and gypsum during the boil to help with my soft water.
Aerate well and ferment at 68 for two weeks.
Dry hopped in secondary for a week at same temp as above.
