So I've been working on a design for a single vessel setup.
Anybody use a tubular flexible heating element before? Any last minute things I should be concerned about? I am going to coil the element (bend it yourself) around the bottom of a Bayou Classic 82 quart pot.
(I realize I could do something cheaper)
I'm looking at getting the following. Actually I know I am going to get it, if there was additional interest I would order more than one, take the upfront risk and would make a transaction through eBay. Send me a PM if you are looking for something like this.
Tubular Heater
4000 Watts, 240 Volts
.430” dia., 316 SS sheath element
63” long
2 “ cold section each end
Watt density: Approx. 50 W/in²
Formation: straight w/2” legs each end
5/8 – 18 X .938” SS bushing welded to each end.
Fully annealed (bend to your own configuration)
