I'm getting hitched in a month and my groomsmen will be flying in from California. As part of their gift I wanted to give them a couple of the sour beers I have been working on. I just came into some Belgian bottles, which I think would look pretty snazzy as a gift. My only concern is the cork coming out on the flight back to California. I've flown with capped bottles and had no problem, but I don't want to give my groomsmen beer-soaked luggage as a gift. Should I be concerned about this at all?

Also, remember that the stupid 3 oz rule is still in effect so they will be required to check them. As a former bag-chucker I will stress the need to wrap them properly in the middle of the bag. For the love of the yeasties, make sure they are well padded and preferably in a plastic baggy just in case they break.
