It is meant to be a brown ale....very dark I admit. Based on Newcastle Brown Ale from UK. Quite lively but tastes sweet and warm

Very dark with a pretty light head, interesting...... I always shoot for dark with my browns, but I usually end up with a much frothier head. Yea, share the recipe.

It is a kit....fermented with brewing sugar and primed with dme. Im very new to this but quite proud of this one. When I used the same procedure and used a barrel it came out red! The kit was sweet newkie brown. I am yet to experiment starting from scratch. Im hoping to learn from these kits.

It does look like a stout of sorts I know....but it tastes like a sweet light ale...weird but lovely....im pleased. Wish I could post a full recipe. Wilkinsons Sweet Newkie Brown kit from Wilkinsons Store UK. Sorry I can't be more help.
