Black bretty. Dropped a couple points since last fruit addition. I guess I should quit pulling samples, but I had been thinking I could catch gravity on way back to 0 and let it carb on it's own. Maybe I'll just leave it be til June and bottle with sugar and wine yeast. 3lb per gallon wild blackberries and its hard not to just drink it now.

Earlier I had Cuvee des Jacobins, which I really enjoyed. Now a Rayon Vert, as per usual I needed 3 glasses for a single 12 oz bottle...the brett in that one really makes for a foamy pour.

Keweenaw Pale Ale. My fiancee just told me she bought tix to Detroit Tigers game in two weeks and just as important on the way to Detroit......lunch at Jolly Pumpkin!!!!

Oh, that's why I can't hold my glass like that. I don't have much experience cupping like that. You look like a natural though. I bet you can probably hold the foot of your glass like that in your mouth too. :p

Vodka tonic for me. Since I started the whole homebrew thing, my clothes are fitting a bit tighter. Time to get back to normal. I figure a beer or two then a vodka for the night should help haha.

Baseball and Detroit I can do without, but lunch at JP sounds rad!

good to see you back as well! how was Less Wages? sorry about the bad beer. no one should have to go through that. I have 4 4-5 y/o BL in my basement if anyone's brave enough...

Funny story about lost wages.... I'm not much of a gambler and the last two years at the car rental show I haven't gambled at all. But this year I had gone down to the casino early in the morning and found a Starbucks. Well for a croissant and a white mocha of course ran like $12.00. I had only taken a $20 bill downstairs with me and left my wallet in the room and all the noises of the casino got the best of me so $8 dollars change went into the machine. Well 2nd to the last play I hit for $883 :) cashed out and snapped a pic. Didn't gamble again all weekend.

nice my brother lives there and does something similar.. bets a small amount on sports games and sits there and watches it all night while of coarse drinking for free, doubt it's DHF or anything but hey it's FREE : D

That sounds great. I'll keep looking.

Blackberry Berliner while bottling my farmhouse esb.

Anyone else have a wife who doesn't mind carboys on the kitchen counter? :ban:

Thats dangerous drinking very easy to slosh and spill, you need to grasp it sideways holding the stem between the thum and index its more secure. Ive spilt it a few times cupping, not a fan. Especially if full. Have at if you like though.

Woodcock Bros Amber Ale. New brewery that opened near my folks place. Set it up in an old cold storage facility. Good beer. Spent grain pretzels and pizza dough.

I have lived that. me & some friends used to get drunk & joust on skateboards & fruit boots. a few of my friends thought it'd be good times to dip their berries in white house paint & slap them against a brick wall to see who could make the biggest splatter mark.

What were they doing letting you ******** near the White House? ;)

^ Oh, and Nuke, trying to take note from your pics. Brought out the 50mm prime to try and get some good pics. Looks overly processed, but at least you give me something to strive for haha

Ha... I don't know if you have experience with Wyeast 1010 American wheat, but it smells like absolute ass. I mean, the most condensed sulfuric fart smells imaginable. I made a high gravity honey wheat on Monday, and today it went into full throttle. The entire house reeks like booty. She made one comment on it, but other than that she's been cool with it. The last time I used this yeast, she texted me at work and said she had company coming over and needed this thing the hell out of the house NOW. I think she's starting to like it ;)
