bad hops?

Just went into the freezer to get some ice and my one ounce bag, Hop Union package bought new a month ago looked swollen. I picked it up, and sure enough it looks like a smacked Wyeast pack. What the heck? I'm supposed to use it to dry hop a batch this weekend! Is it ok? Anyone experience this before?

i have a few hop pouches that have done the same thing, i have no idea what inside that bag would cause a pressure build up. last weekend i cut one open, magnum pellets, and the hops smelled fine in the bag and in the kettle.

The suspect amarillo smelled fine as well, so I threw them in my tripel with American hops for dry hopping last night.

bad hops?
