Infected?

Hey Brewers,

First post here. I have done a few extract batches at this point, but I am by no means a veteran to homebrewing.

I am about to bottle my extra pale ale (northern brewer kit) and I noticed that a lot of stuff was floating on top of the fermenting bucket. Is this what a beer looks when it is infected or am I ok to proceed?

It's difficult to tell in the photo. Those floating things could easily be yeast rafts. How long has thus batch been fermenting and at what temp? Have you tasted it?
