Charcoal filters?

I don't use filters on anything and all my beers turn out fine. What are you filtering?

Strange, filters usually give a rating as to how many gallons they can handle. I'm not an expert but it will get down to what type of activated carbon it is, how much there is of it, and how much crud is in the water that is being removed.
