Get excited when liked?

Is it only me or do you get excited too when you login and see a red box with a number in it next to your name? I love that I said something someone liked.. not sure why. Simple mind simple pleasures I guess..

I like it as well, though I hope it doesn't get overused like it does in Facebook. I know some people that "like" every post that comes on their news feed.

I guess it's a nice form of appreciation. I just hope that we don't get into a "likes" competition or anything!

Do you think I'd post anywhere near half of the stuff I post if I werent obsessed with seeing the red like number in the upper right??

I've wasted many a good post and have gotten NO likes in return. It seems you have to rant in order to get any attention around here.

This is a disgraceful way to get likes....

You should earn your likes by telling someone they have a stupid face ...or something along those lines.

I love them, but as the admin I wrote a program that gives me a ton along with life affirmations.

Funny thing is, I just made this thread to see who else looks forward to getting likes. However, I'll take the likes I got from making this thread! haha.

There's an apartment complex near my house with a big sign in front that says "Immediate Approval". Makes me want to stop in every damn time I drive by.

OH, and the spelling... It's pity. I'm not sure what "pitty sex" is, unless it's having something to do with an underarm, or the inside of a peach or olive.
