movies and local craft beer

supporting local breweries & serving quality, fresh-prepared food.

zero-tolerance policy towards talking and texting during the movie. If you talk or text, you will receive one warning. If it happens again, you will be kicked out without a refund.

don't allow unaccompanied kids at movies and only allow babies at select "baby day" screenings

worth going JUST for that last one, but add food and beer? we're there.

Very cool--once CineBistro opened in Richmond, it spoiled me for movie going. Same kinds of rules, 21+ only, reserved seating, serves food/beer/wine, all still very reasonably priced.

from their other franchises, looks like 1st run movies. other cinema-drafthouses I've been to, like Arlington and Virginia Beach have been 2nd run

from a brew club buddy and local craft beer authority :

Alamo Cinema Drafthouse will have 32 lines. Mostly craft. Heavy emphasis (at least forthcoming) on "local" (not sure if that means VA, Metro DC, Mid-Atlantic, or what). The beer manager there is young, but loves his beer, and knows his stuff. Should be reliable to get some good beers in there.

the site, One Loudoun, will also be the home of the Loudoun Hounds, of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, a Triple-A-quality league
