I picked her up on Saturday... quite the ordeal to get her home though. They're heavier than they look.

It's a 1947 GE. Seems to works pretty well still. A little beat up, but not bad over all. I'm going to order a Johnson Controller for it and hope to use it next month on my next batch...



 
thanks. I hope it turns out as nice as yours! How do you remove that folding shelf by the butter tray? I don't want to hurt the insides.
 
Mine didn't have a folding shelf, but I'd assume it's either held in by rivets or screws. Can you post any close-up pictures of it?
 
haven't done anything to it, but clean it up really good. My IPA has just come into itself so I had to chill it down and it's the perfect place. I'm going to buy a controller for it this week as my next batch is going to need a place to ferment...
