I am kinda new to home brewing and I am hooked!! How many home brewers we have around the area? Maybe somebody can show me how they brew..

I'm in Lafayette! Welcome to the forum! Let me know sometime and we can brew. Ive only done 5 batches but know the basics.

Welcome to the forum!

Thank You!! I have brewed around 8 batches mainly all extract.. I just ordered a new kettle so I can go to all grain and try some BIAB.. We will have to meet up and do I a brew session.. Might be weird but is your last name Ferguson?

oh ok.. Have you brewed extract beers or all grain? Im brewing a kit from midwest supplies called hanks hefeweizen tomorrow after work

Only extract so far. Still trying to get everything to make my extract and keggjng process solid. I would like to eventually get to all grain though. Best of luck with Hank! Well have to meet up and swap some brews sometime. What part of Lafayette are you in? I'm near meijer area.

I've got a red ale and witbier in bottles about gone. cream ale bottle conditioning, Scottish ale in a keg carbing up and a lawnmower beer ready to keg.

Im live in the houses across from payless on 38.. My keggs are empty :( but have to light ales in the secondary about ready to keg..

Have you guys a Local Homebrew Club????

They are all over the place and you meet the nicest Beers that way....

If not seems it is time to start one...

Touch base with a few clubs via their websites and ask for their "By-Laws" (rules are important)...

We'll have to try to get together and brew sometime! Also, just in case you weren't aware, a place called "Whiskey Bob's Saloon" just opened up beside Steak n' Shake :). it'll be nice to have a close place to go grab a brew. I don't know what all they have on tap there though.

Hey guys I am trying out 2 all grain beers this weekend.. This will be my second time trying all grain. The first time was some what entertaining!! Anybody is more than welcome to stop by and watch the entertainment!! Oh I may need a lot of pointers if anybody is willing to give me some

Hello, I work at SIA, friends with one of the owners of Whiskey Bobs, I home brew, and will be taking an Apprentice Brewers course in 2014. Unfortunately, I live over by Logansport. It has been too cold lately to brew, but, I have an IPA in my Blichmann fermenter that I will be kegging today or tomorrow.

Went to Tuxedo Park Brewers at the end of summer to pick up supplies. Those guys are great. After buying supplies, they asked if we had time to try some brews from their brew club . (DUH)! And sample we did. Some really good offerings. Later, we stumbled across the street to the Fountain Square Brewery, nice setup. Hungry? Why yes! Back across the street for and fantastic New Orleans style Po' Boy at a little sandwich shop. (Sorry, can't remember the name). Finished up our journey back over to Tuxedo Park. The guys were still hangin out back, sampling. What a great first trip down to Fountain Square and Tuxedo Park Brewers. They definitely have my return business. BTW, all their ingredients are fresh and a wide variety in stock.

Recently ressurected brewer here living in Logansport, working in W. Lafayette. Definitely check out the THC, they're great people and great brewers. I had a blast at the meetings I attended with them.

I'm also new from Monticello have a honey kolsch about to bottle that me and a friend are attempting... It's an extract brew but will switch to grain for the variety of styles you can create. Are the guys from Peoples brewery on here?

Hey all, I'm in Lindberg Village on the West Side. I'm a process control specialist at the Tate & Lyle North Plant. Brewing today for the first time in a while.

I've been doing all grain beers for a couple years now. Look me up if you want a brew partner or any help.
