Which Tannin for Skeeter Pee?

I've never used tannin before so I could use some advice on what would be best for skeeter pee. The LHBS has these three options:

but neither of those 3 sound like the same thing as:

If someone could shed some light on how the above 3 things that I could get from my LHBS compare to wine tannin from Midwest that would be great. I would like to avoid paying $8 shipping on a 3 dollar item.

Also, how does this stuff measure out? Would 2g be enough for a 5 gal batch?

I use the bottle at midwestsupplies - although I got it from a LHBS. It is plenty for several batches at 28g (not 2g)....

Alternativily, tanin is what you get from Tea, you could steep a few tea bags and put the tea into your skeeter pee. No I have no idea how many take a look at some mead recomendations (I think usually 1 bag per gallon of must, so for 5 gallons, maybe 5 bags, and that can be made at typical strength, so like 30 oz of hot water with the tea)... - I lied... little idea, not no idea.

The tea idea sounds like a good backup plan if the LHBS tannins don't pan out. Any idea on what type of tea works best?

I don't use grape tannin or other commercial tannin in my skeeter pee. I use Earl Grey black tea. 1tbs which is the same as 3 tea bags just dumped into the primary. No need to make a tea from the leaves, I just "dry hop" the leaves in the primary and it works great.

So I could just drop a few tea bags in and I'll be fine? Any type of tea/ingredient in the tea worth avoiding?

I would not drop the bag itself. Just rip it open and dump the tea strait in. Just find a tea that you like and use that. All plant matter has some tannin to it but black tea has more than green tea. So it depends on your tastes.

1/2 teaspoon per 5-6 gallons of SP. I don't recall where I got the info to go with the liquid or the 1/2 oz, sorry. The original SP recipe calls for 3/4 tsp; perhaps AppleJacker's recipe calls for 1/2 tsp, don't recall.
