    I need a summer brew that IMPRESSES!!!

    My vote is for the Blonde! I made and A.G. batch last summer and my father in law (coors light drinker) said it was the best beer I ever made! Beg to differ.... Lots of pilsner malt low hops. Cheers

    Best way to sanitize dry hops?

    I always dry hop in keg/secondary. Sanitize a muslin bag, add a sanitized ss or glass weight along with hops pellets,(different bag for pellets) or whole leaf. Works great for a corny keg. Bags help keep leaves or pellets out of the keg valve. Also the weight keeps the hops next to the liquid...

    That is a problem. I may be stretching the IBU range a bit for that style as I love a good hop finish.

    Thanks for the nice hops suggestions and recipes. After looking at some of the clone recipes for Blondes like Sweetwater 420 I knew there was more to the ale than just a pale ale without any color. Light, drinkable, with a nice hops finish. Thanks again.

    Hi, This is my first post so here goes...... Since summer will soon be upon us I think a nice Blonde Ale would be in order. Any suggestions for a nice finishing hops? Cascade is, and will always be my favorite but I'm looking for something a little different to feature in the blonde...
