also if anyone is interested in sharing slants for verification I would be more than happy to test batch things.

It would be nice if we could have a note of the verified yeasts that actually ferment clean. Its easy to slant bottle slurry, but to have them work out is a totally different ball of wax.

Having the same issue. Two out of three make a bizzare noise when you turn the propane on.

Absolutely. Just keep them on gas and you'll have awesome beer when you come back.

counter clockwise. use a heavy duty screwdriver and whack it with a hammer. Usually one good hit followed by firm tapping works best to get it out. Make sure to turn the keg on its side and release the pressure or you'll get a spear in the face.

Filters tend to be a pain in the ass IMHO. Brewers hardware has a tri clamp one that seems to be ok, but if you just WP the beer comes out fine. Most of us up here just pressure cook our plate chillers and havent had any problem with crap plugging them. Up to you, but filters are just more...

Nice work mate. I always find those stones are a bit of a pain to weld into anything. The bead always wants to run and blow out the stem.
