this makes the third type of beer that i've gotten the same licorice flavor in. all in bottles but only a few bottles per batch have this off flavor.i'm assuming its some kind of sanitation issue. any experience with this?

I racked a turbodog clone on top of a pound of peanut butter powder and some cocoa nibs. the peanutbutter seems to be packed at the bottom of the carboy, should i gently stir it up every few days or is it ok as it is?

Does bottle carbing at high temps create an over carbed beer? I ran out of room in my fermentation fridge to put all my bottles to condition, so i put the left overs in a box and the temps prob got upwards of 90 degrees. well the ones that were conditioned at 70 degrees came out pretty flat...

Couldn't wait, I popped a bottle of my first brew. A moose drool clone. It has been in bottle for 2 weeks. Taste like a flat diet soda. No head at all, but a little fizz when i opened it. should i expect a big change in a week? or is this about it?

I brewed my second batch 4 days after my first. they are both in my ferm fridge, I would like to bottle them both on the same day. should i bottle at 3 or 4 weeks? In other words, should i let one go a week over or should i bottle one a week early?

It's been 40 hours and no sign of fermentation, is it safe to say the yeast are dead? at 24 hours i checked gravity, no change so i shook up the carboy and 16 hours later nothing. also should i order another pack of yeast or has it been too long already?

BIAB Moose Drool Clone. Mashed at 154 for an hour, finished at 152. target was 1.046 i got 1.040. Ok whatever. boiled 60 minutes and got the same reading. i'm sure i screwed up a reading or something. either way it's in the ferment fridge at 67 degrees for 3 weeks and we shall see what kind...

I installed my bulkhead and valve today. It doesn't leak, but the entire valve will spin around with a little effort. I'm not sure if it needs to be tightened up more or if this is normal? I Don't want to over tighten.

Is there any website, that i can input my ingredients. Then it would give me a list of the beers i can brew? Like webtender does for drinks?

I have a Spartanburg challenger VI that needs an out post I also have a Firestone challenger VI corny but that post does not fit. any idea how to know which post to order?
