    Ministry and beer

I read all these posts and breathed a sigh of relief that we are atheists. So much simpler to live uncontrolled by imaginary forces. No offense to you believers out there (of which are many, don't fret). Keep on brewing no matter what you believe. RDWHAHB peace

    worst beer you ever made

I've brewed 7 extract batches and all that I have tasted were good (1 batch still fermenting) except for a BeerMakers XXX Bitter, my 4th batch. Tasted like band aid/ garden hose. Coopers Bitter - Expired Can

I brewed a Coopers Bitter a couple of months ago, it was past the best before date (2009).The extract smelled fine, maybe a bit darker than normal? All I did was proof the yeast to make sure it was viable before pitching. The beer turned out great, the kits were cheap($12 cdn)due to being...

    First Brew...first post

I've been lurking here for few weeks reading and learning. My first brew is now carbed and drinkable......and actually tastes very good. I started with a Cooper's Bitter kit (LME & yeast) and used dextrose (I know:o). The result is something I would brew again.(I'm on my 4th 500ml bottle...
