Thanks for posting this. I found this thread from your review on MoreBeer. What did you use at the bottom of your pot to prevent scorching? Or did you simply suspend the bag with the binder clips to keep the bottom of the bag from touching the bottom of your pot? If that is even possible...
@bovineblitz - Could you post a pic or provide more details on the "new braid with a spring inside along with a T splitter (this was so I could angle the barbs downwards to reduce deadspace though)?"
I was hoping that was the case. Thanks for your help! If anyone could tell me the interior dimensions of this freezer, that'd be great. I am hoping to get the most out of the freezer but am still considering the Kenmore 8.8 from Sears.

I got a 4-pack of ball locks that were converted from pin locks (short and stubbys). Could you tell me how many of the short and stubby kegs you can fit in this kenmore? I am trying to decide between the kenmore 8.8 and the frigidaire 7.2. Please advise. Thanks in advance!

I am leaning toward the 7 cu ft so I have more versatility. I want to be able to use the keezer for lagering too. With a 7, I can do two kegs (or more) and also a carboy for lagering. I couldn't do that with the 5. Thanks for all your help.
Great info. Quick question...will two pin lock cornies fit in the deeper left side? I know they are slightly larger in diameter. If you think they will, I am going to buy this freezer tomorrow. Thanks!
