    FastFerment conical fermenter??????

Thanks for mentioning the thermal jacket. I've been thinking about getting something like this but have not been tracking the FF website. Ordered mine today. I've just got to add that my brew buddy and I love this thing. It's not perfect but pretty darn close and a tremendous value. For us...

    Canadian Roll Call!!

I'm looking for something similar. I see a lot of nice places to drink beer (e.g., BeneLux) but I'm wondering if there's much in the way of brewery tours in Montreal? I'm not seeing any.

    FastFerment conical

I'd recommend a strap wrench over channel locks to loosen the collection ball. Less risk of cracking the plastic. Strap wrenches are cheap and I just keep one with all the FF gear in a bin.

    TAP-A-DRAFT: first impression...

The concept of "Fitness for a Particular Purpose" says that if the seller knows of a particular purpose for which the goods are being purchased, then there is an implied warranty of fitness. So, if they knew you were buying cartridges for a tap-a-draft and told you they would work in it and...

    TAP-A-DRAFT: first impression...

If your LHBS told you they'd work and the don't, the have to take them back. It doesn't matter what their policy is.

    TAP-A-DRAFT: first impression...

Don't put the TAD bottles in the frig until you're ready to drink them. Doing so will seriously slow down the bottle conditioning process (if not stop it entirely). A temperature around 70 degrees F would be good (on average). You'll find lots of great info on this site about that sort of...

    TAP-A-DRAFT: first impression...

I've got to say, I'm loving the tap-a-draft! Easy bottling, easy to set up, nice pouring, etc. It strikes me as a perfect compromise between bottling and kegging. I wouldn't mind if it was a little cheaper or the bottles a little thicker, but that's not getting in my way of enjoying it. I'm...

    Kegcowboy.com

It's only going to be to his credit if he follows through. If he does, more power to him. I won't hold my breath.

    Kegcowboy.com

The question will be if anything beneficial is actually done to make things right. These guys seem long on promises and short on delivery. Please let us know if he actually follows through on anything.

keg cowboy (cluttering up a different thread)

You should consider yourself lucky. I'm surprised they didn't take your order and then not ship as promised.

    Northern Brewer Site?

Unavailable for me as well. Tried a few of the "deep links" from Google's search page and they didn't work. Looks like a problem with their domain registration. I imagine someone is spending their Father's Day trying to get this straightened out.
