    I tell interested visitors that of all the equipment I have the PH meter is the most expencive piece per use that I have. Throw away a $ 65 plus meter after 3-4 uses. Not worth the hassle. Take your H2o or your wort sample to a craft brewer, they would be happy to check it for you if you buy...

    How do YOU clean your racking cane

    Thanks for all the comments. I did a deep hot soak in oxyclean and rodded the cane and tubing with a new long handled brush. Nothing, no crud, dirty water, nothing. I guess a good rinse with soap and water works fine Ed B

    I clean mine by pumping hot Oxyclean through my SS cane and hose for about 5 min, every 4 to 5 uses with no problems yet. I spray sanitizer, Iodine, inside for a few min before use. I am wondering what else works Ed B

    I load my bulk grain bag in a Space Bag then in a medium trash container. Have never noticed bugs or their leavings. Hot and humid as bad it comes here in Fla.
