For Sale (FLORIDA) SS BrewTech Mash Tun & Kettle - 20 Gallons

I purchased both of these in 2016, and with multiple moves/deployments since, I have only been able to use the Mash Tun once and never took the Kettle out of the wrapping. With another move coming up, I have decided to pass these on to someone who has more time and can put them to good use...

    Reviews on Millar's Barley Mill?

For the owners of the B2 or B3 models who built a base, can you upload some pictures on how you have it set up? Just stumbled upon the MM while researching mills since I am going AG. Still doing some research, but interested in the MM for my mill, just thrown off by it not having a base.

    Honey to an IPA

I am getting ready to do a Honey Gingerl Ale w/ about 1.5 lbs of honey. From what I have gathered online or from people who have worked with it, adding it to the end of the boil will net you the aroma factor you are looking for. No matter when you add it though, it still will boost your gravity...

    Starting my Keezer Build...

It's been a while, but I am back to working on the Keezer. After moving, starting flight school, and getting engaged, money/time has been a rare occurrence, but I was able to find some and make a big dent into this thing. Here are pictures and an update to "The Monstrosity" as my fiancé calls...

    Homebrewtalk Carboy Cleaner Giveaway

I would love the carboy cleaner for this reason. I sit in my small shower with my carboys and wash them by hand using a toilet brush since I have no other method or option to clean it in my apartment. This would definitely make it easier for me to clean, and allow me to enjoy my shower more.

    Starting my Keezer Build...

The storage is a must for me now. I wanted the inside for beer, and didn't want to worry about CO2 canisters taking that away. Also depending on where I move to and what not, I figure I won't always have the optimal placing of the keezer, and I would hate to always have to walk somewhere to get...

    Starting my Keezer Build...

Here are the final pics before the move. Let's hope it doesn't fall apart. I have the front and side trim installed. I didn't have time to do the shelf or the doors, but I think the 1000 mile drive will give me enough time to think about how I want to do it. The inside gives me enough...

    Bottling my Belgian Quad

Looking for a little clarification and what not before I possibly ruin my beer. I brewed a Quad on March 26. had an OG of 1.093. Racked it on April 17 due to time restraints and moving. I just checked it last week and it is sitting at 1.007 (91% Attenuation). I used the Wyeast 3787 Trappist...

    Starting my Keezer Build...

Webb, Bottling has been a pain, hence one reason why I am doing this. Plus the idea of always cold draught beer is exciting. If you want to do it and have the room to cut and build I feel its worth it if you will brew enough to have a couple kegs on tap. Also Baltimore always has cheap...

    Keezer lid seal and collar

I have seen people do weather stripping to add to the seal. I just did the collar myself for a keeper build, but didn't have the problem, but also added an extra seal to prevent leaking. I feel Bean has a good point. As long as it was sitting flush on the freezer originally, there has to be...

    Starting my Keezer Build...

    Starting my Keezer Build...

Thanks Hop, I actually looked at your build and BBentley's a bunch to do my initial design and blueprint. I just finished the base and it has the 4" gap around the freezer to help prevent overheating. Now I am pondering if I want to put a 6" collar on the freezer or not. If I don't the keezer...

    Starting my Keezer Build...

Well after a couple of heart breaks and problems, I decided to give in... Bought a 9 Cu Ft Freezer last night from Lowes. It was $259, but after a coupon, my military discount (Got to love the double dip) and a gift card I got as a gift the other day, it was under $100, so I decided why the...
