Nice! I started with a flat end cap, used the lathe to punch a hole through it, ground off the threads on the pumphead, fitted them together and tig welded them. It was a fun project!
Been working on converting my npt chugger pump heads to tri-clamp heads. Still have a bit of grinding to do but think this surface is looking pretty decent. What do you all think?

Did the same thing. Was worth every penny to not have to spend the time cutting the holes. And I am doing a din rail as well, using some of Doug's wiring diagrams And ebrewsupply s diagrams (changing a few things from them)
