New Jersey Keggle Mash Tun & Tri-clamp Bottom Drain

The pipe is stainless. I am not sure about the nut, I'll look more closely when I get home from work. The guy who built the rig I purchased was pretty meticulous, so I imagine it is SS, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. I'll ship all that stuff out for $65.

5500 watt 240 VAC RIPPLE element for $27.34 ea

So these would be better suited to HLTs only? Risk of scorching?

5500 watt 240 VAC RIPPLE element for $27.34 ea

I'm confused as to what the oversight is? I got 2 of these, came in mail yesterday. Can I bench test them or something?

Obviously the ugliest Kegorator I've ever seen. Just scrap it.... Beautiful work.

New Jersey Keggle Mash Tun & Tri-clamp Bottom Drain

The total for this thing is going to be $125, I'm not sure how much it is exactly. I've shipped one before about a year ago, and its $20-$30, also its a pain as I gotta buy a large box, etc. People generally don't ship them for this reason, but I like the challenge. I figure its just easier to...

    New Jersey Gear Reducer 30:1

I've decided to go with a different motor/mill setup so I wont be using this right angle gear reducer. Its a 30:1 ratio. The 1/2" shaft spins 30 times for every rotation of the 5/8" shaft. This is an older industrial unit that will survive all future apocalypses, and will be part of the machine...

New Jersey Keggle Mash Tun & Tri-clamp Bottom Drain

Hello fellow HBTers, I got this stuff locally on a big purchase I made. I'm in the process of a new brew rig build, so I don't think I'm going to use this keggle/mashtun. Its a miller keg, clean cut up top, with a 1/2" npt weldless bulkhead about 6" from the base of the keg. The previous...

Also I just realized this original thread is almost 3 years old, LOL. Anyway, enjoy the Q all.

Weber Smokey Mountain / Bullet - 18.5" or 22.5" model?

Not to beat a dead pig, but I agree, the 18.5" does everything I want it to. Maybe once a season (ie. a year as bbq never stops), I think, oh I'd like more room. But 9/10 times, its perfect. Happy Q'ing.
