    beaker for starters?

    Since most people use foil rather than an airlock, would a straight sided beaker be ok for stirplate starters? I've found a 4L beaker far cheaper than a flask, and it seems less like to boil over. Opinions?

    Advice on a wee heavy that stopped sooner than expected

    single tier pump return fittings

    So what do most people use for the kettle/mlt return end of the tubing from the pump? I'd rather not drill another hole in each keg and have welded in additional couplers, but I can't have loose hoses flopping around, either.

    Easy connection for beergun?

    While i dont need a stinkin beer gun, I got one for my birthday. I don't have a spare co2 port, what's the easiest way to make one of the ports I have modular, so i can detach a keg and attach the c02 purge line of the beergun withouth having to undo hose clamps?
